Apologies for the late update
Since the Oscar nomination festival requests have been coming in thick and fast, with everyone wanting a piece of This Way Up. It recently received a jury award for 'Best Animated Short' at Riverrun Int'l Film Festival!

A.M.P.A.S...
On Thursday we were delighted to find out that our 3D animated caper ‘This Way Up’, directed by Smith and Foulkes and created entirely at the Nexus studio, has been officially nominated for an Academy Award® in the ‘Best Animated Short Film’ category. The film will be available to download on Itunes in its entirety very soon – so watch this space..!

Sundance is shining on This Way Up
'This Way Up' is packing up it's coffin and jetting off to Sundance for the city's annual film festival! For those of you who can't make it to Sundance, 'This Way Up' will be screening a little closer to home at the London Short Film Festival next month too.

This Way Up tickles funny bones in Estonia!
This Way Up won a Jury's Special Mention for Best Humour at Animation Dreams Animation Festival, part of Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, November 2008.
