'This Way Up' is packing up it's coffin and jetting off to Sundance for the city's annual film festival! For those of you who can't make it to Sundance, 'This Way Up' will be screening a little closer to home at the London Short Film Festival next month too.

Win at 27th Uppsala International Short Film Festival!

For 'Best Children's Film'. The jury was comprised by 11 pupils at a school in Uppsala. This is what they had to say about it:

"The film was well made with good-looking effects and details. The humour was totally unexpected and fits all ages. The music was good and fits well into the movie all the time . The whole idea behind the movie is carefully thought out and awesome."

18-23rd Nov 08, TWU is coming to Bristol to be part of the Encounters Int'l Short Film Festival. 

The film also makes it's mark on Sweden in November at Bolzano Short Film Fest.

Special Public Prize at Mundos Digitales

This Way Up not only had it's European Premiere but also received it's first award at Mundos Digitales Festival in Spain, last Saturday! It won the Special Public Prize in the International Animation Short film competition. Co-Producer on This Way Up, Christine Ponzevera was at the ceremony to collect the award and said the screening of the film got a fantastic response.

A message from your Directors...

So we finally got around to making a film. If we were to pitch it to Hollywood we would have said it was 'Indiana Jones' meets 'The Plank'. And then they would ask us to leave. So instead we went to The Animation Show. "A short film!" they said, "Great!" they said, "Just make sure its not about death!" they said, "So there's these two undertakers..." we said. And now, 9 months later, its time for our simple tale to be told. We hope you enjoy...
